October Artist Profile: Jettye Davis
Please enjoy Jettye's unique artwork in the lobby this month.
My name is Jettye Davis. I am a self taught artist that uses art as a journaling process. I dabble in collage, water color, acrylic, whatever strikes the mood. My process is to go to the art room, follow my intuition and see what emerges! I love paper, scissors and glue! This exhibit is named “Notes to self” and it was done over the last few years. I call it that as most of the paintings are notes to me expressing ways to get through this labyrinth we call life. I believe we are all artists and I enjoy facilitating art workshops and encouraging all to let their, “freak flag fly”. In other words, enjoy the glorious mess that you are, silence your inner critic, and have some fun! Enjoy!
