As a Truth student, I am responsible to Unity of Birmingham and our congregation to be true to our mission of spiritual enlightenment and to share that vision with others. I must adhere to Unity's principles and teachings and be a beacon of Unity’s truth principles with all I meet.

Eddi is a spiritual being manifesting as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, niece, cousin, step grandmother, friend. She credits the spiritual beings that are Unity of Birmingham with nourishing her spiritual growth and development and helping her know who she am.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Barnard College of Columbia University and Master of Professional Studies Degree from New York Theological Seminary and has completed additional courses and training in career-related areas.
She has enjoyed every job she has held. She retired from federal government service October 31, 2020, after working for the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Birmingham District for more than 36 years as Outreach and Education Coordinator, supervisory investigator, systemic investigator and investigator. Prior to federal service, she worked in the private sector (including banking, education, community development corporation and research).
As a retiree and similar to Bilbo Baggins in “Lord of the Rings: Return of the King,” she is ready for a new adventure.
