Unity Core Principle
We are individual expressions of the One Power of the Universe, and we align with our Divine Nature through prayer and meditation.
Bob McKenna, President of the Board of Trustees
Dear Beings of Light and Love,
Times have never been more exciting at Unity of Birmingham! Why? Because YOU are here—sharing your life experiences with us, and together we are all searching and learning about our Truth.
Every moment of every day we have the choice to choose LOVE and expand in our consciousness. Now is the time to acknowledge that we are indeed in Paradise and are the ones to manifest the most beautiful reality ever! It’s a mysterious, mystical carpet ride through the Cosmos!
In the words of our brother and teacher Yeshua, “whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do….”
Peace, Love and Oneness,
Bob, Foot Washer and Servant in Love
I Drive 130 Miles to Where People Get Me!
By Kristi Carrico
People are always amazed that I drive 130 miles (2 hours, 10 minutes) each way to Unity of Birmingham's Sunday Service!
I lived in the Midwest, St. Louis Missouri, for much of my adult life. While there I attended many Unity churches, Centers For Spiritual Living and the like. When I moved to Columbus, Mississippi three years ago, I had a strong urge to seek out a spiritual center in line with my spiritual beliefs. It was also important for me to connect with people whose beliefs and the way they process life (Law of Attraction) were in line with mine. People who “get me.”
The message at Unity of Birmingham is one of love, inclusiveness, personal and spiritual growth. The music is always rich with a message of love and positivity. It almost always moves me to get up, clap my hands and dance! I’m so grateful for Unity of Birmingham!

Small Group Survey!
At Unity of Birmingham, we would like to foster greater connections between our spiritual community members through “off-campus small groups.” Small groups are known to gather people together for friendship, enjoying outings with others, spiritual growth or learning/sharing a craft. In forming such groups, we would appreciate your thoughts on this brief survey so we can better serve our Unity community. Please remember that small groups can include people from all walks of life who do not attend Unity.
